Privacy Policy
Effective July 14, 2026
TestCenterCheck collects only the information needed to operate community test-center reviews. Please never include student names, staff names, room numbers, or other information that identifies a specific person in a review.
Information we collect
- Account information: email address or phone number, display name, and sign-in information handled by Supabase. Passwords are not visible to TestCenterCheck.
- Community activity: reviews, ratings, votes, reports, test-center suggestions, and their timestamps.
- Device-local information: a browser backup of review drafts or submissions may be stored on the device you use.
- Technical information: hosting and service providers may process basic logs such as IP address, browser type, and request timing for security and reliability.
How information is used
We use information to operate accounts, publish and organize reviews, prevent abuse, moderate content, respond to problems, maintain security, and improve TestCenterCheck.
Public information
Your display name, published reviews, ratings, and review activity may be visible publicly. Your email address, phone number, and password are not displayed with reviews.
Service providers
TestCenterCheck currently relies on Supabase for accounts and review storage, Netlify for website hosting and feedback forms, and Google Maps for map features. These providers process information under their own privacy terms.
Data retention and deletion
Reviews remain available until you delete them or your account, or until they are removed through moderation. Signed-in users can delete individual reviews and can request permanent deletion of their account and associated reviews from the account window.
Children and families
TestCenterCheck is intended for people age 13 and older. A parent or guardian should assist younger students. Reviews must not contain information that identifies a child or another specific person.
Security
We use account authentication, database access rules, submission limits, and moderation tools. No online service can promise absolute security.
Your choices
You can edit or delete your reviews, reset your password, delete your account, or contact TestCenterCheck through the problem-report form.
Changes
We may update this policy as the service changes. The effective date above will be revised when material changes are published.
